The Carsum Stroller is unique in the noticeable height difference in the design. The stroller is at the ideal height for a wheelchair user instead of being too low in comparison to typical designs. The smaller wheels and shorter wheelbase makes it easy to pull up to the stroller and even lock the stroller to the user's wheelchair. Once locked in place, moving the stroller is simple and the adjustable handlebar for pushing and adjustable seat to provide a ideal placement of the baby. The stroller does not seem to significantly compromise maneuverability and does make transporting a baby significantly easier when compared to a typical stroller. There is also storage space under the seat at about the height of the wheelchair user's knees: ideal for the wheelchair user.
There is no indication that the Carsum Stroller will enter production at this time. Hopefully this will change soon. Check out the pictures and video below. Enjoy!
